A declaration of purpose — for the people, by the people, through the people.
MUSAWAH was established as a grassroots socio-political and development movement with a dual mandate: to support and mobilize grassroots backing for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani in alignment with the APC's development agenda, and to promote impactful youth and women empowerment initiatives.
To build a united, empowered, and development-driven society where every citizen has the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to governance, political participation, community development, and national progress, inspired by the leadership vision of Gen. Christopher Gwabin Musa (Rtd).
To mobilize, educate, empower, and organize citizens toward active participation in the political process, support for the Renewed Hope agenda, leadership development, economic empowerment, and sustainable development — while promoting peace, unity, and inclusive growth.
Development becomes meaningful when it reaches communities, creates opportunities, and empowers citizens. Political participation is a vehicle for this development. Youths are critical stakeholders in governance, and women are essential partners in nation-building and political mobilization.
"MUSAWAH believes that meaningful development can only be achieved when citizens are organized, empowered, informed, and actively involved in governance, political participation, and community development."
